• Alright, putting this here because the bioware and EA forums aren't helping even a tiny bit. Ok, so I've gotten the gloves of the Champion. All's well, until I try to get the rest of the Champion armor. I've done all three quests to get the other pieces, but the only piece that drops is the hood/helm. The boots and chest piece don't show up.
• Armor Mantle of the Champion Type Medium armor Material Argent. And the best rogue equipment in Dragon Age II, with the exception of certain items added.

King Something the Forgotten's Armor does not hold a candle to Warplate of the Champion. We are talking about 256 armor vs 331 + 2 rune slots. The defense bonus is largely irrelevant, even with very high defense (which isn't easily attainable without gimping stats) you will still get hit by dangerous enemies and you will be hit hard. The +50 health on the Champion plate is better. Stun immunity can be attained by getting the ring from the Emporium on Act 3 for a relatively low cost. Last but not least there are a ton of ways to increase attack speed (talents such as fervor, barrage, isabella's ability, the rune from Haunted, Haste, etc) which leaves the only really useful stat on that armor, which is the 20% damage resistance. Considering that with 20g more you can get the Helm of a thousand battles that provides 14% damage resistance, 16% magic resistance and immunity to crits, I'd say that overall there are better ways to spend that much moneyThe Helm of 1000 Battles is 130ish gp, but it's also worth that price.

20% damage resistance effortlessly trumps 75 armor and 2 rune slots. The net +35 health is always welcome (the KSOTFA has +3 con) but the +145 atk may not be as useful, depending on your build and party makeup. Also, KSOTFA is available at the top of Act II. Every time I play through as a warrior, it's the first thing I buy in Act II and the last chest piece that I need to wear for the rest of the game.%DR scales with level better than raw armor value, and applies to all damage types. Mixed with the Helm of 1000 Battles, you're sporting a solid 34% damage resistance. Mix that with a decent armor score, some MR (from the talent within the Templar tree, for example, or companion talents like the upgraded Arcane Shield), and you're well on your way to being Very Hard to Kill™.The stun immunity is also awesome.

Can you get it with a ring? The Ring of the Ferryman is 109gp, and the Ring of No Wishes is 26gp, or Demon's Eye for 6gp, all available in Act III. The bad thing about the Champion armor is that you get it when the game is almost over.

I don't remember exactly but I think I was at +90% damage resistance as well as +90% magic resistance on my tank warrior. The seller accused me of rejecting delivery and returning the item, when it actually never came to me in the first place. Then when it was returned to them by the postal service I had to open a PayPal dispute to get them to ship it to me again. Would not respond to messages without prompting from Etsy or PayPal. Ordered in April.

It doesn't even have a clasp! Outfit is itchy as others have said.

Had to open an Etsy dispute to get them to ship the item, then it got lost at customs because the label came off. Would not respond.more. Necklace was reproduced wonderfully and matches the photos and description perfectly. Communication and delivery were problematic, as the item took 12 weeks to arrive and I didn't get any updates unless I specifically requested them. Apparently the mold had gone bad and this delayed production, but I wasn't told until 4+ weeks had passed after my purchase with no communication.
